Analisis Tingkat Literasi Sains Siswa Kelas V dalam Pembelajaran IPAS di SD Muhammadiyah 29 Sunggal

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya tingkat literasi sains siswa sekolah dasar yang masih didominasi oleh kemampuan menghafal konsep tanpa mampu mengaplikasikannya dalam kehidupan nyata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat literasi sains siswa kelas V dalam pembelajaran IPAS. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 20 siswa kelas V yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SD Muhammadiyah 29 Sunggal pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata literasi sains siswa sebesar 68,5 dengan kategori sedang, dengan distribusi 30% tinggi, 45% sedang, dan 25% rendah. Pada aspek pengetahuan diperoleh rata-rata 74,2, aspek proses 66,8, dan aspek konteks 64,5. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi sains siswa masih perlu ditingkatkan terutama pada aspek proses dan konteks melalui pembelajaran yang lebih aktif, kontekstual, dan berorientasi pada pengembangan keterampilan berpikir ilmiah.
